Rio Grande Valley · Shingle & Metal Roofing
Roofs built for every season the Valley throws at them.
A roof isn't just a repair job — it's the crown of your home. Monarca treats every inspection, repair, and replacement with that standard: done once, done right, backed up if your insurer says otherwise.
Meet the Owner
The face behind every roof.
Victoria Franco
Owner & Roof Specialist
I wanted to bring a friendly, familiar face to the roofing business here in the Valley. I got into roofing sales in 2020, working across the Rio Grande Valley and Austin, and over and over, customers told me they signed on because of how I treated them — not because of a logo on a truck. When that company stopped working in the Valley, I knew what came next: build something of my own, where that same care is the standard, not the exception. I'm a single mom building this for my family, and every roof we put on is one I stand behind personally.

Denied Claims Help
If your insurance company denied or underpaid your roof claim, we document the damage and advocate directly with the adjuster on your behalf.
Insurance Claims
Denied claim? That's not always the final answer.
Insurance companies deny or underpay roof claims more often than homeowners expect. We've seen the tactics before — and we know how to push back with documentation that holds up.

What to Look For
Signs your roof needs attention.
Most roof problems don't announce themselves. Here's what to check for from the ground and inside your home — if any of this looks familiar, it's worth a free inspection.
01
Missing or Curling Shingles
Shingles that are cracked, curling at the edges, or missing altogether after a storm leave the roof deck exposed to water.
02
Granule Loss
Those gritty granules protect shingles from the sun. Finding piles of them in your gutters, downspouts, or driveway means the shingles underneath are wearing thin.
03
Dark Streaks or Moss
Dark streaking is usually algae; moss or plant growth holds moisture against the shingles. Both shorten the life of your roof over time.
04
Sagging Rooflines
A roofline that dips or sags instead of running straight can point to structural damage underneath — this one shouldn't wait.
05
Water Stains Inside
Brown or yellow stains on your ceiling or upper walls almost always trace back to a roof leak, even if you can't see damage from outside.
06
Dents from Hail
Hail can bruise or dent shingles without an obvious hole. It's often invisible from the ground, which is exactly why it gets denied by insurance if it's not documented.
07
Overhanging Tree Damage
Branches that rub against the roof wear through shingles over time, and falling limbs or debris can crack them outright. Trimming trees back is one of the simplest ways to protect a roof.
08
Cracked or Deteriorated Pipe Boots
Pipe boots are the rubber collars sealing plumbing vents where they pass through your roof. Many homes have the common 3-in-1 style, which only lasts about 8 to 10 years before cracking in the Texas sun. Once that happens, water gets in right at the seal — which is why bathrooms are one of the most common places homeowners notice a leak.
